HR Advisor – Czech speaking (Maternity Cover)


We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our great team. HR Services team provides effective answers to HR related questions to our colleagues while delivering high quality services and adding value to the business.


What you will do:

  • Act as the primary contact for line managers and employees providing a first class remote HR consultancy service
  • Maintain relationships with other areas of HR to ensure effective end to end processes
  • Communicate with the employees of Vodafone Czech Republic via e-mail and manage the resolution of their queries, according to agreed service levels
  • Execute routine HR administration activities
  • Take part in HR related projects and process improvement activities

This job might be ideal for you if:

  • You're fluent in Czech language, you used it actively and also your English skills are upper-intermediate
  • If you have some HR related experience, that’s great, but fresh graduates are also welcome
  • You have a university or a college degree
  • You communicate clearly, you write well, so you can explain just about anything to anyone
  • You enjoy solving problems and help others. You love taking on different challenges and if you don't know the answer or the solution right away, you'll dig until you find it.
  • Strong system focus is a must, and SAP experience is a huge benefit and experience in process improvement, and project management is desired.

Currently we are looking for candidates for the following role:

Fixed Asset Accountant - Czech or Slovakian speaking (Maternity Cover)

As a Fixed Asset Accountant you would perform assigned Project & Asset Accounting and control transaction processing responsibilities. You would work with Fixed Asset accountants ensuring compliance with policy and accounting practice.


What you will do:

  • Create final assets in the asset register in accordance with approved requests, purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Run monthly depreciation and assign any unplanned depreciation; run inventory reports and record results from inventory counts
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end intercompany asset transfer process, keep close contact with the other affected departments and the Czech local market
  • Perform duties within month end routines and analysis within the reporting deadlines
  • Perform the intercompany margin elimination on fixed assets and continuously develop the margin elimination process
  • Create and maintain a link between the finance and non-finance departments to ensure good finance working practices are incorporated throughout the organization



  • You have at least intermediate English and Czech/Slovakian knowledge
  • You also have at least 1-2 years of experience gained in a financial or accounting position, but fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge are also welcome
  • You possess a degree on the field of finance, accounting or economics
  • You have confident MS Excel skills , and if you also have some experience with SAP, it is an advantage
  • You are a good problem solver, a critical thinker and you have the ability to work independently while remaining a part of the team
  • Please note that this is a maternity cover position with an approximately 2 years long fixed term contract
